Work Hard, Play Hard

I am so thankful for my wonderful life. It seems my weeks are loaded with homework, running to classes, keeping the apartment clean, and participating in all the wonderful church and campus activities. But, when it comes to weekends, here at BYU, we play hard.

My weekend was full of lots of fun. Sometimes just those three days can seem like a week itself.

After our last water polo tournament game we went to the high dive. You know the ones that crazy olympic divers jump off? It's a lot higher in person. However, it is pretty fun to just run and jump off something so high!

If you've been to the Old Mill, you know how great it is for beach lovers stuck in a frozen land. Indoors, warm and humid makes for the best sand volleyball court and swimming!

We rented Toby from Puppies for Rent, and got to surprise people like Debbie. Ps. If you want to make someones day; visit them with a puppy, it sort of does the trick.

Sunday morning a bunch of friends came over and we made pancakes, bacon, eggs, lemon juice, orange juice, and had lots of fruit. Can't say that it's not extremely addicting. Can we do this everyday?

Friday night bowling night. John was just getting a little desperate to catch up to my score...

Saturday morning we got to go to this wonderful place called the temple. Specifically, the Timpanogas Temple. Very pretty, very wonderful.

Come on ladies, what's better then yo'man hold'n a puppy? hahaha

Other activities included Ultimate Frisbee, hackie sack wars, moving my roommate out, St. Patricks Pot luck dinner, desert night, and the great group run.

The Academy Awards

YSA 19th ward had a wonderful night dancing and fine dining. We watched each others films, and I was way impressed by everyones skill and creativity. Here is the link to our video on Facebook. It's not the best one there, but highlights and exaggerates some BYU ironies. It's definitely interesting...

Sunday Doodle

There's something therapeutic about drawing. I guess I intended this to be motivational, yet somewhat comical...
Even Big Bird can wake up feeling groggy.
Just ignore the typos.
